Tinsley Medical Instruments approached DesignEdge to handle the industrial design of a new instrument to detect and monitor Glaucoma conditions.

The definitive design was chosen from a range of concepts - it allows adjustments for individual patients and improves ergonomics without increasing tooling costs.

Materials selection was key to the success of the project. DesignEdge vastly reduced tooling costs through innovative materials and an in-house design process called Edgeway, offering a unique fast turnaround process geared to offering low unit costs with affordable UK aluminum tooling.
