A medical product developed by Cambridge industrial design company DesignEdge that improves the effectiveness of the colonoscopy procedure has been recognised in an international design competition.

DesignEdge received a certificate of excellence for winning the Silver A’ Design Award in the Medical Devices and Scientific Instruments Category. The design was judged by a panel of 3 different juries and voted on functionality, ergonomics, engineering, presentation, innovation and technology. A’ Design Awards is an international annual juried design competition that honours the best designers, architects, engineers and design oriented companies worldwide.
