CRFS, the world-leading manufacturer of RF spectrum monitoring systems was today presented with the 2013 Queen’s Award for Enterprise, International Trade and recognises outstanding export sales. DesignEdge worked seamlessly with the CRFS team to develop the world’s first cost-effective system for remote, real-time monitoring and surveillance of the radio spectrum.
DesignEdge created the metal enclosure to be robust and rugged, to work within a temperature range between -30 to +55°C and to meet IP67. The RFeye is housed in a compact, lightweight housing designed for hostile environments for both fixed, mobile applications and man-portable deployments. CEO Dr Alistair Massarella, “this award reflects our use of good design and engineering and we are looking forward to working with DesignEdge on the next generation of our market leading radio spectrum systems.”
